Christopher Mitchell recorded a hat trick for West Sound, but it wasn't enough for the Warriors as they lost 8-6 to Tri-City in a USPHL Pacific Division hockey game Saturday.

Mitchell also had an assist to finish with four points as the Warriors trailed the Outlaws 3-0 in the first. But West Sound came out of the first intermission on fire, scoring six goals in the second period to lead 6-3. Scotty Perkins scored twice while Reid Cloward also added a goal.

Unfortunately, the Warriors defense couldn't hold on as Tri-City added the game-tying and go-ahead goals in the third.

The Warriors are 2-8 and host the Seattle Ravens on Friday before heading to Kent to take on the Ravens on Saturday.
